About Us
Based in Hove and operating across Sussex, Sussex Training Academy was born from a simple question:
"How do we bring our brilliant training to more people?"
Originally a collaboration between local care providers and an experienced trainer, the answer soon became clear:
"We’ll launch our own Training Academy!"
So, after offering care training to other providers since 2019, we consolidated our expertise and went live as Sussex Training Academy.
While we started in domiciliary care, that’s not where we stopped. Today, we’re proud to provide bespoke, personalised training across all sectors - from construction sites to restaurants, from hotels to airlines, and from artisan bakeries to nursing homes for patients with complex needs. Whatever challenges your staff face, we’ll make sure they’re fully prepared (and we won’t break the bank to do it).
Our trainers are fully qualified, hugely experienced, and ready to help you achieve your training goals - whether you’re an organisation with staff to upskill, an individual caring for a loved one, or someone simply looking to broaden their own horizons.
We offer tailored courses and can accommodate group bookings, with sessions available at our Hove site or at your workplace (within reason!) - even using your own equipment if required.
There’s no substitute for high-quality, in-person training with an engaging trainer. Regulators across multiple sectors are increasingly expecting training to be delivered face-to-face, making it more important than ever to invest in the right support.
